HI-FIVED PARTNERS

HI-FIVED is a project where multiple partners have come together to deliver a hydrogen-powered vessel with bunkering for hydrogen. Our mission is to develop innovative technology solutions that will enable a decarbonisation of the maritime industry.

Trident Marine Electrical

TME specialise in all sectors of the marine electrical industry from small pleasure craft to super yachts, commercial ships, and cruise liners.

Based on the East Coast of England we cover a range of services locally and across the globe, from fault finding, test and inspection to new builds and full turnkey installations. 

ACUA Ocean

ACUA Ocean is a maritime clean-tech start-up that designs, develops and deploys hydrogen-powered vessels for use across industries, promoting sustainable economic and environmental monitoring and protections of our oceans. Part of CleanTech Open (USA), Katapult Ocean (Norway), Ocean Autonomy Cluster (Norway), UK Chamber of Shipping (UK), NOC Kickstarter Programme (UK).

NASH

NASH Maritime offers innovative solutions that empower clients to manage shipping and navigation risk, optimise design and enable safe co-existence with other marine users.

We have worked in the maritime environment, understand the commercial value of risk-based decision-making and take an active role in driving new approaches to safety and cost reduction. We distil our expertise into software designed to tackle the common challenges our customers face, from constraint analysis to safety management.

University of Southampton

Central to the university's success is its dynamic research landscape, highlighted by its top-tier research institutes and groups that are among the best in Europe. Notably, the Maritime Engineering Research Group, consisting of 12 full-time and 4 part-time academics, embodies the university's dedication to advancing the maritime field. This group is at the forefront of research in cleaner, safer, and smarter maritime transportation, addressing contemporary challenges with innovative solutions that have significant implications for the future of maritime technology and sustainable practices.

ZEMTech

ZEMTech Limited is a project management and delivery company dedicated to the decarbonisation of port facilities and shipping.

The company ethos is to drive decarbonisation of marine shipping and associated infrastructure. Our mission is to eliminate GHG emissions from the maritime industry through the adoption of zero-emissions technologies, designs, energy systems, and fuels.

VESSEL DESIGN FINALISATION

The unique small waterplane twin hull (SWATH) vessel design is finalised and building commences at the AMC yard on the Isle of Wight.
