USV PIONEER utilises the space, weight, power and stability of the unique SWATH design vessel to deliver enhanced capabilities in higher sea states.

Additionally, the development of smaller vessels offer an initial step to de-risk the development, testing and operation of hydrogen-powered vessels

Mobile Bunkering
Onshore infrastructure for vessel bunkering is currently cost prohibitive and only viable for large ports.
Smaller transportable bunkering solutions overcome this barrier and decrease permitting and planning challenges.
Future quayside bunkering infrastructure could also be used for refuelling of port vehicles and road transport.

Infrastructure
To accelerate the adoption of green fuels it is critical for ports and maritime authorities to gain real-world operational knowledge and experience around the use of hydrogen in the port, through trialling, testing and demonstrating low risk scalable technologies that can prove the safe use case.
